A lot of the rare stuff I see around these parts are SPS.
Wonder if anyone has any rare softies. I have my buddy out west whom I get REALLLLLLLLLY cheap frags off of who has some in growout tank that he says are some sought after softies. Now his area might be different than here of course.
Anyone heard of safecracker or galactus zoas? I can get these for insanely cheap.. even some rare sps as well for crazily cheap. Essentially I can get any frag he has (which is a lot ) for $2.50 a frag :-)
The only issue is they are all in growout mode at this time.. or I would already have some here. I will have some crazy stuff soon though.

There are also quite a few rare soft coral in the area. If anyone picked up the nepthea from last meet from Ron it is a very rare coral. www.atlantisaquarium.net/rare-palau-nepthea-frg132.htmlIt is suppose to be extinct in the wild. Safe crackers are nice zoas. I do not know much about the galactus.

Never know it all depends on where they come from though. Our corals tend to originate from Atlantis or Steve Tyree himself so we know they are not just look alikes. That's the problem with lots of coral out there, you may find a ppe for $40 a polyp but someone may be selling a lookalike for $5 a polyp it only matters if you are looking for the real thing as oposed to a look a like. Where it gets bad is when look a likes are sold as authentic at lower prices which happens all the time. This ruins the market value on rare coral and leads to a lot of arguments about lineage etc.

Ok well someone at the meeting earlier this year had gorilla nipples. Phil has armor of gods. And the shop (and me) have radioactive dragoneyes. They are all cool. If you are getting them all together then Id go for it but if you are getting them at separate times I wouldnt pay the shipping for those. I cant say anything on the others though but definitely try to throw up some pics.

I get these all at once and for 2.50 a frag if not free. Just have to pay one shipping cost. So, good deal.
