Interesting read...
I'm still confused as to how he actually got the juveniles...cutting then from the adult? Or did many adults actually reproduce in his aquariums? If so, then wow. I've only ever seen it happen once.

That stuff is the plague, it has reproduced in my tanks many times and has killed many corals by popping up inside them and overtaking them. amazing and cool yes.....but a major pita too.

I agree with Jim on this after seeing what the stuff did in his tank. I really think they chose this species as it is almost impossible to kill and it grows so fast. In fact pocilliopora are among the less picky SPS species and can adapt to almost any tank condition.
