ok i did a water change on tank last week. added the chloride chemical to tapwater and water is still really cloudy. ph is normal what else can it be its putting off an odor also

It takes some time for a tank to stabalize. What are your other reading? Nitrite, Nitrate, and Ammonia? Also, I suggest getting rid of the "chloride chemical" and pick up some seachem prime. That is the best water treatment you can get.
How old is your tank? What size is it? What does your stock list look like? What is your filtration?
