Ok I know i dont need to feed my corals as they are photosynthetic but i do know they grow faster and healthier if they get supplement feeding, like zooplankton and the like.
I currently dont feed my tank at all (my 2g) I did just get a peppermint but Im not giving him food till he finishes off the aptasia he is working on or he starts not eating (whichever comes first)
But i would like to supplement my corals to help them grow faster.
What should i look into getting and how much should i feed? i have my gorgonia that is getting very bushy, a bunch of zoas, my hammer coral the mushroom and my CUC,
also theres a spot in my tank where the acrylic is getting a diatom like algae on the acrylic. Any guesses why? Im showing good on amm, nitrites and nitrates, sg is at 1.024 (hydrometer) the tank has only had ro water from jo-mars mixed with tropic marin pro-reef salt.

Ron has been using the zeo line on Roger's tank and posted in the other thread that he has ordered it into the shop...check on that I have read nothing but good stuff from it....Ron posted a thread on here about the order and the results he has found from Roger's if I can find it I will post a link... l0s3r: how long has your tank been up? Mine had a slight outbreak after it cycled was nothing to worry about though just gave it time...

2 gal that must cost you a fortune to keep up! LOL - I bet the hardest part is adding chemicals, supps. Most use per 5 or 10 gal. So how do you figure a 1/2 mil? My calc. mix is one capful per 50 gal. So you would need 1/25 of a capful.

I havent dosed or supplemented anything yet, the expensive part dont come often, Im using tropic marin pro reef salt with ro water from jo mars, the salt is expensive but its only a 2g so i dont use much at a time lol. i took some water in today and my calc was over calc alk and everything was in great shape. My corals are all happy but i mean who can complain about a little extra food lol thats why im asking, ill be gettin some of the zeovit products soon.
