Ok so lets say you was getting a pair of clowns and you wanted an anemone. Alot of people say that you should wait a year before getting an anemone.... Why? What is it that you are looking for in being established?
How long should you really wait and what are you looking for?
What does a sebae require when it comes to tank establishment, elements, and light?

OK let's see if I can help a little here.....Some anem's can be very fenicky and will not adapt well to a newly established tank as they are used to feeding from the water column and from their hosting clowns if the tank is not established well this could be an issue....others will be ok being hand fed my RBTA was hand fed for a while but after a month or so it quit eating from my hand and only fed from the clowns and water column (did great 'til Ron killed it...LOL joke RON thanks for the help you stepped up when I needed the help....) The lighting I found was the biggest thing with mine....At first I had it under PC lighting in my 38G then moved it to the 90 under MH, where it was extremely happy and stayed open almost constantly....under the PC it would stay open a few days and then close up for a while.....if you want one find one that is tank raised that has split from a very established. Mine was a third generation split and went into my 38 when the tank was established about a year......all that rock and water went into the 90 which was like a big water change instead of a new tank....

I have had two LTA's.. and one sebae nem. The LTA's did really well. Got so large I traded them in at the LFS. The sebae didnt do well but neither did the others from the place I got him.
