Ok first what are these things growing on this rock. I tried to siphon them and they are stuck on there good. Also what is this thing?

I do believe that might have been a spaghetti worm. It was in the sand. I saw the tentacles sticking out and I thought it was hair algea at first so I sucked it up and that is what it was. Was it a good thing to take out or would it have been ok to leave in there in case I see anymore?

The black by the GSP is probably a type of cyano?
Second a type of worm. Probably spaghetti but not sure.
Is the tube hard in the second pic?

I think it was one piece until I started poking it with a knife. Is the other stuff by the GSP good?

Also what is this? It looks like bubbles attached to the rock that the xenia is on. Is it bubble algea? Is it bad? Sorry not the best pic.

Looks like bubble algae to me. It is not uncommon for new tanks to get. If you remove it try not to break the bubbles.

It was actually on the rock that the xenia was on when I put it in the tank. I just didnt pay a lot of attention to it. will it hurt anything.

It is an algae and if it begins to spread it can overtake what it comes in contact with.

I think it only looks blue because of the actinics

So how exactly do I get rid of it? My scraper at the base of it? or maybe a 38 special.

You should be able to pull it off by hand but a razor or an xacto would be ideal.

They will release spores into the water causing more to grow.

I have a little in my tank. Scared to bust it so I have left it alone. Going on 3 months and no spreading. So I will continue to monitor and hope that is ok.

3 months without change? wow thats wierd. Hope the best to ya both when i bought a rock from berts (coral skeleton w Wammin Watermelon zoos for 3$) it had some on it so after i removed the zoos from it i put the rock in some saltwater and vigrously shook it then picked off the remaining. no problems since but yours is on coral so i dont know. but they are surprisingly kinda hard for algae

bristle worm, id leave it they are great natural detrivores, just dont touch it their bristles sting like hell if you do get one in ya though dont try to pull it out, soak your finger in vinegar water it will cause it to dissolve (calcium based)
But they are very common in saltwater tanks. good to have

They can be cool to watch. They live in your sandbed and rock. Youll mainly see them in your rock. They will poke out of holes you didnt know existed. Grab little pieces of food and other detritus off of the rocks and sand. They stretch out really long and skinny but when they are going backwards they get shorter and fat.
