I purchased a sailfin tang about two weeks ago. Today, I found it hiding under a rock. It was laying on it side. The power head was sending it swirling so I have temp turned it off. Now it is standing on its nose in the sand. What's wrong and what can I do? Please help...

That does not sound good. Dont know what is wrong with it but it really doesnt sound good. My firefish did the same thing and it didnt turn out good for him.

I hate to say this but it does not sound good. I really dont know what to suggest except putting the fish into another tank by itself. Have other fish been harrassing it?

None of the other fish were bothering it. I found it stuck under a rock so I moved the rock and it has gone down hill since. I have another tank so I will try moving it to that one and see what happens but I think it's pretty much on it's last breath....the other fish in the tank are fine.
