Woah, trade some clowns out for something else! You're begging for disaster when they decide it's time to mature.
As a general and VERY VERY loose rule of thumb, 3 to 5 inches of ADULT fish per gallon of actual water... and a corresponding amount of live rock along with sufficient filtration equipment.
So, in a 55 gallon you should have about 55 pounds of live rock minimum... which will take your water volume down to about 45 or 50 gallons. So at a maximum level, 15-16 inches of fish when they reach adulthood

Percula and Maroon together just waiting for trouble to happen.
4 Perculas alone might[/b] work if they are all juvies and only two mature.

cool. If your nitrates are rising your pushing the bioload, feeding too much, something. Skimmer will alleviate it if its a bioload issue.

Definitely need to trade out some clowns.
But if your content on the fish you already have then I wouldnt add anything else. Maybe a firefish but thats as far as I would go. Your going to have major aggression issues in that tank.

Territorial aggression isn't always immediately apparent, it can sometimes take a few months or a year... With 5 clowns, you are almost guaranteed to have a serious issue.

yeah that will def be a problem down the road if not soon. The general rule in freshwater is an inch of fish per gallon of water. But me personally wouldnt recommend that for saltwater i would be more likely to recommend an inch of fish to 2 or 3gallons
