Lowcel turned me onto Kens food. kensfish.com I bought 5lbs of his brine shrimp pellets. I also bought a couple pounds of brine shrimp flakes from an ebay seller called Melsfish.com. I think I will be ordering my flake from Ken this next go around.
I will also on occasion buy some feeders. I dont really like getting the rosies or goldfish from Walmart of NON-sponsored fish store. If you wish to become a sponsor please contact an admin today. I would rather get guppy feeders or other feeders from Joe-mars.
I do however have a whole bunch of convict fry that will end up as feeders.
I feed all of my fish Ken's fish food except for Lucy (the red devil in my 55). That stubborn winch won't eat anything but Hikari. I don't feed any feeders however I might give the dovii a few of your convicts to try out in the near future.

I guess the Arowana will eat my flesh too. I stuck my hand in the tank last night to move something and he bit me. Im going to get some of these feeders to him. That makes me think he isnt eating enough. He eats the Kens pellets and the brine shrimp flakes.
When he was little he would eat the krill right out of my hands.

I use Ken's flake for all my fish. Just ordered almost $100 of it Monday. I love it, the fish love it and they do very well on it. I also like Omega One flake and used to use it for my breeders and discus (all gone now) - a great quality flake. I feed my breeders frozen blood worms, white worms, and I sometimes chop up red worms - they also get flake. I feed my fry live baby brine shrimp, micro worms, decapped brine shrimp eggs and ken's growth crumble 00 size until they can take crushed flake. My guppies get live bbs, decapped bs eggs, micro worms and Ken's guppy flake mixed w/earth worm flake. The GBR's get mostly FBW's, whiteworms, flake and some chopped up red worms. My albino BN plecos get Ken's algae wafers and blanched zuchinni, yellow squash and butternut squash. Did I mention that I spend several hours a day in the fish room. ;D
