Once I get the big tank cleaned out these guys will be getting a home to themselves in a 55 gallon tank. The female has spawned before with a different male that Pat has. Hopefully I can get them to pair up for me.

They're looking good! I'm sure that once he settles in you'll have fry. I did'nt have the chance in the 300 to grow fry out but they're good parents.

Yep I don't know why, but when they get half black it's breeding time. They might eat the first batch or so..so don't get discouraged if they do. Keep us updated.

If they lay eggs on the plastic pvc pipe they have been hiding in I will put it in a 10 gallon tank and let them hatch.

I cant find any eggs in the tank but they sure are acting aggressive and running everything off. Big Daddy even puffs up at me when I get near the tank.
