Hey everybody, Wanted to show everyone my new project. It is a 120 gallon planted freshwater tank. I am still learning all the plant names (there is a lot of them) so im not sure what some of them are but I'm sure a few people will be able to label them for me. Anyways here are some pics. Edit: Album link here images would not show up for some reason. picasaweb.google.com/hmotorsol/20110415?authkey=Gv1sRgCIewp5zGh5z7Lw&feat=directlink

okay small update. algae has turned from green to brown. i have got all the components and the tank filled i have hooked it up but the bubble counter will not stay constant it keeps slowing down to a bubble to zero every once in a while. Do i just keep turning the adjustment dial up or what do i do?

Is your CO2 tank full? My also want to check your check valve and tubing make sure there is no obstructions. If those are ok then just turn the dial a little more.

If your'e not getting 50lbs of pressure on the regulator coming in from the tank then its probably an issue with the bottle. Sometimes they will bleed off CO2 if you dont put pipe tape around the tank exhaust pipe.

I have my regulator set at 10psi but my tube feeds directly to powerhead intakes so I don't need much pressure. Sounds like you need to crank it up a bit. It will take some adjusting to get it right. How are you determining your co2 levels in the tank? How are you diffusing the co2?

the reading on the first gauge is reading slightly above 50 psi. the second gauge does not seem to be working but it said that they sometimes dont work in the regulators manual. i am using a 44 oz sheets cup that has the tubing from the co2 tank to an air stone and a maxijet blowing into the cup. I will post pictures of it in a few. i have a check valve on it but im pretty sure i didn't put it on wrong unless it was labeled wrong.

What kind of co2 tank do you have, 10lb? Your tank pressure should be around 900-1000psi unless your about out. Is the tank valve opened all the way? Did you say it was a milwakee regulator? Like phil said you may have a leak. You can mix up a solution of dishsoap and water and brush it on all the connections to reveal any leaks.
