Kind of hard to tell what it is by the pic. It may be some kind of fluke. Sometimes freshwater dips will make them come off.

I'd watch for signs of stress. I lost a fish a while ago because a white spot developed on him like that, but it could be anything: one time i thought my clown had ick, but it turned out to be REALLY tiny bubbles on his fins. i bet a cleaner shrimp could get that off! my skunk cleaner nearly ripped a mole off my hand once when i was cleaning the tank a while back.

I have been planning on getting a shrimp but they are hard to find i wonder if jomars has any. i think that would be less stress on the fish than the fresh water dip.

I have been planning on getting a shrimp but they are hard to find i wonder if jomars has any. i think that would be less stress on the fish than the fresh water dip. I know they have at least one skunk cleaner at the shop at this time saw it yesterday. However, I would say if you dont do something soon it will be too late. If you do a FW dip it will probably erradicate the parasite. Here is the way to do it. 1 get some ro water and warm it to tank temp. 2. use some buffer to get the pH up to the same as the tank 3. dip for approximately five min no longer. 4. put fish into a hospital tank for treatment 5. redip the next day 6. observe the fish for about two weeks before reintroducing it to the DT.
