What is this it looks like a worm of some sort its black and white almost looks like it has a crown but i have never seen a feather duster move around this much.

Looks a lot like a peanut worm. They are great critters. www.melevsreef.com/id/peanut_worm.htmlThey look like they extend from their inside instead of just stretching like most worms. At the end they have a small crown of tentacles. Great detritus eaters.

I have one thats about 4 inches, i see it picking detritus off the rocks occasionally. it HATES light and movement. It will hide quicker than even a bristle worm. But I like him hes cool.

This one was out during the day and didnt seem too shy. If its a good thing i wont worry about it.
