Well I got home today for lunch and I see a bunch of tiny white specs on the glass. I didnt know what it was till I looked real close and it looks like tiny bugs. Any clue what they are? I tried to run the mag-float at a couple to see what would happen and they jumped real fast across the glass.

I would try to get a pic but I honestly think they are too small to even get a pic of. They are all over the glass.

i have them all over my 2g they are pods, i also have super tiny starfish on mine also, they are a good sign, and fish love them... plus they are natural detrivores that help clean your system.

What about flatworms? Google flatworms and check out a pic and see if that is what it is. I had a little ourbreak of these here just a few weeks ago. I got the lucky white ones. I only say lucky because I have heard horror stories about the pinkish red ones.

I honestly dont know if I can tell or not. They are so small that I originally thought they were little bubbles or just algea on the glass.

I had to use my camera to really get a good look at mine. I set it on macro and took pictures. I would post one up, but it seems I left my card reader at the office again. I will get a pic and throw it up on here tomorrow.

I have not seen any today so I dont know what is going on. When I see them again I will try the macro with my camera and zoom in real close and see what I can get.

Sound like copepods to me. A pic would definitely help ID them.

This was about the best pic I could get with the lense I had on the camera. I will try to change the lense later when I see them again and take another pic.

They are some type of pods. Should be a good thing.
