Well I was looking at one of my live rock pieces and noticed this little bug running around. I changed my seio 1000 locations and afterwards I noticed a couple of these guys. One is about 1/2 centimeter long and the other 1 or 2 are about 3mm long. Very fast, have antenna looking things I cant get a pic of them because by time I see them and try to get the camera up to take a pic they are back in the holes. I am gonna look around on the web to see if I cant figure out what they are...any suggestions. They are a clear-white looking thing.

I tried to get a pic of it but not very good. Also here is a pic of on of the 2 hermits that were on the rock when I got it.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I will still try to get a better pic but like I said that thing is fast.

Good thing, levels are stanalizing enough to support lifeforms.

I got a couple more pics of these things. I readjusted the water flow and it flows right over the rock they are in and about 5 minutes after I did this I started watching the rock and it looks like there are at least 2-3 of the larger ones and possibly up to 8 or more of the smaller ones and they run quick.

Uh oh, are those mantis shrimps? Do you hear clicking sounds?

Those are anthropods. They are detrivores and help to clean up the tank. I do not believe the pic Solar took is of a mantis shrimp. If you start hearing clicking noises you could have a mantis.
